Before I got into blogging, I had a handful of bloggers that I followed pretty religiously. Now that I'm more "in" the blogging sphere, I follow a wide range of bloggers and creatives to gather inspiration and to connect. And while I follow a wider variety of creatives, I still follow my favorites very closely - they are my favorites after all! I follow specific bloggers for specific reasons; sometimes it's their style, their travels, their inspirational posts, or for the fact that I really enjoy their writing style or personality. So if you're looking for some places to gather inspiration these are some great blogs to check out.
One | Gal Meets Glam

Gal Meets Glam is my all-time favorite blog. Julia, the author, has the best classic style that I love and she & her husband travel all over the world. I live vicariously through their travels and gather so much inspiration from their work in style, travel, and life in general. They are very established as bloggers, influencers, photographers, and entrepreneurs - I learn from them each week. Visit their website here.
Two | The College Prepster

I follow along with Carly's blog, The College Prepster, mainly because of Carly herself. She is super real and down-to-earth and open. She really displays all aspects of her life, good and not-so-good, on her blog which instantly drew me in. I aspire to be as open as she is on her blog here on Mad's Muses. She talks so much more than just "college" or "prep" such as life and relationships and anxiety and tough times. It's so refreshing to see a blogger get personal instead of giving their highlight reel. Check out her website here.
Three | Unfancy

Caroline of Unfancy is an inspiration in the fact that she has a small closet. This is something I desperately need to work on and Caroline is my inspiration. She used to focus on capsule closets but now she calls her closet "capsule-ish" and doesn't stick to too many rules except to have a personal defined style and few pieces. She styles her outfits to make herself comfortable and true to herself. It's nice to see an influencer stick to their roots and not dip their toes in every single trend. Visit her blog here.
Four | Covering the Bases

Krista, the creator of Covering the Bases, writes + photographs travel, fashion, and home decor in such a personal and unique way. I look forward to reading her posts simply because you can tell they're her and not someone she's trying to be. Her honesty and realness are so inspiring. Like Carly, Krista doesn't fit the my-life-is-roses-and-unicorns box that some bloggers fit into and I love her for that. She's the realest and her blog is the coolest. Visit her website here.
Five | New Darlings

New Darlings is my most recent find on this list but they're so amazing that I had to add them! I've been following them for less than six months but they immediately snagged my attention. For one, their style + home decor is perfection, but also because they make the perfect team. I love the fact that they work together, show you around their adorable home, and outline both men and women's style. It's the perfect blog if you have a guy you're trying to shop for, too. Visit their site here.
